Welcome to Lesson #1: The Theology of the Cross – What is it, and Why is it So Unpopular?
- About this lesson
- Quiz
Let's get started!
In this first session, we'll begin by defining "Theology of the Cross." The Apostle Paul maintained that in the preaching of the Gospel, the cross of Christ should not be emptied of its power (I Corinthians 1:17). We'll explore what he meant by this.
The Scriptures present two different approaches of how God combats our sin: a temporal approach, an eternal approach. Today, we'll also talk about the 'Left-handed' and 'Right-handed' power of God.
Let's begin.
