We're over halfway finished! I hope you're enjoying this course.
Our next session covers Arguments for God's Existence. I think you'll like this one.
The argument's for God's existence are strong. Nevertheless, the 'New Atheist' movement has enjoyed a lot of popularity during the last few decades. We'll cover three main arguments:
1. The Contingency Argument
2. The Cosmological Argument
3. The Moral Argument
As we think through these arguments, I'd like you to keep this in mind: Convincing someone that God does, in fact, exist is important. Yet someone can theoretically believe that a God exists and still not know the God of Christianity that died on a cross and rose again. So, it's crucial that you get the skeptic or unbeliever to consider the claims of Christ as quickly as possible.
