Christological Pencil Sketches
- About this lesson
- Quiz
I hope you enjoyed our last discussion about Christophanies.
This week we're going to take a look at the 'pencil sketches' of Christ in the Old Testament. As we explore this topic, keep in mind that these aren't actual appearances of Christ. Rather, these types foreshadow the person and work of the coming Christ. Specifically, we'll look at:
1. Typological Interpretation in the OT
2. The Connection Between Adam, Noah, Abraham
3. The Messianic Priest, Melchizedek
4. Joshua as the OT Jesus
5. David as the foreshadowing of the Messiah
